A GROUP of cubs and scouts from Basingstoke West District received their certificates from the Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Cllr Paul Miller last week.
The certificates were given to 29 young people from units at Worting, Brighton Hill, Oakley, Overton, Hatch Warren, Rooksdown and Tadley.
The event was held in the Basingstoke and Deane council chamber.

This was the 21st occasion this ceremony has been held since their inception in 2004.
Basingstoke West’s District Commissioner Josh Hensman was also present for the event.

This was his last official engagement before stepping down after a three-year appointment.
