A MAN who threatened to vandalise a woman’s house has been ordered to undertake a building better relationships course.

Alexander Nolan threatened to “smash her house up”, including the television, during the incident on July 17 last year in Charles Pell Road, Colchester.

Nolan, 35, of St Peters Road, Basingstoke, was found guilty of the crime at Colchester Magistrates’ Court and sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment, suspended for a year.

He must participate in a building better relationships programme and undertake 30 days of a rehabilitation activity.

A three year restraining order was also imposed on Nolan against the victim and he must pay £748 in costs and a surcharge.
