A PLAY park in Beggarwood was vandalised with spray paint earlier this week.
Police officers have issued an appeal after the children's play area on Oceana Crescent was subjected top graffiti, including a swear word.
Posting to Facebook on Wednesday (July 6), Basingstoke Cops wrote: "The play park at Oceana Crescent in Beggarwood has been vandalised. There is a swear word on the slide and various other markings on the play equipment and floor.
"Whoever did it was very helpful leaving their handprints though!
"Perhaps you noticed your child with noticeable blue hands on the 4th July?
