A FOOD warehouse in Basingstoke is hosting a food donation drive next week to collect items for a charity.
The Food Warehouse, run by Iceland at the St Michael’s Retail Park, is organising the drive on Friday, June 17, to collect food for Spotlight UK Foodhub.
Residents are encouraged to bring any spare food you can find in your cupboards to the food donation drive.
A spokesperson for The Food Warehouse said the food banks need all the support they can get during these times of rising cost of living.
“Community need help. We believe we can help impact our community and help families in need with your help.”
The food donation drive will run from 8am to 7pm.
