Paramedics told the court that when they arrived at the property at 8.14am, Mr Brown was dead.

The inquest head that Mr Brown was unemployed, single and had been released from prison a day before his death.

Coroner Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp said: “He was released on August 11, 2021. He was a known drug user. He then managed to purchase heroin. He took this and suffered an overdose and sadly died as a consequence of toxicity.

“The conclusion is that this was a drug-related death.”
