A DEMENTIA action group in Romsey has been supporting the national Dementia Action Week with a series of events.
The Romsey Dementia Action Group, which is run by volunteers and meets at various venues across the town, held events such as fitness classes, table tennis lessons, musical workshops, information events and drop-in sessions.
Marianne Piggin, from ROMDAG, said: "We have been supporting this initiative for many years now. The committee made up of local volunteers are keen to raise awareness of dementia and support and services available locally to support those with a dementia and their loved ones."
The group is rounding off the week by holding a tea dance on Friday, May 20 at 2pm at the Age Concern Hall, in Linden Road.
