TRAVELLERS are being warned that all rail lines are blocked between Basingstoke and Reading this afternoon (Monday, May 16).
Due to a fault with the signalling system between Reading and Basingstoke, all lines are blocked. As a result, Great Wester Railway trains may be cancelled or delayed by up to 15 minutes.
This is expected to continue until 6pm.
To assist with journies, people may use their tickets with the following operator's at no extra cost:
- CrossCountry via any reasonable route
- South Western Railway via any reasonable route
- London Underground between London Paddington and London Waterloo
