CLASSIC cars, jugglers, ukuleles and a dog show are just some of the delights on offer as a village fete makes a return.

Awbridge District Village Association say they are delighted to be bringing back their hugely popular community fete on Saturday, May 14 between midday and 4pm.

There will be more than 250 vehicles from bikes, cars and even tractors on show, as well as entertainment from Juggling Jake, AO Tae Kwon Do, Dog Show and the Romsey Ukulele Group.

The fete will also see Russetts Fairgound and many stalls from food to gifts.

Kerry Daley, secretary for the association, said: “In 2019 we pulled in over 3,000 people to the event and we would love to see more this year. We have been unable to put the event on due to Covid so it is super exciting to be organising this event again. The event is free and will be an awesome day out.

“Awbridge is such a lovely village with a real sense of community. I have been on the committee for over six years now and it just keeps get better and better every year. All money raised goes back into the village where we have invested in the facilities at the village hall, helped re-tarmac the car park, helped upgrade the playground, installed a table tennis table on the field among other things. Our pop-up pub in the village hall has been hugely successful."
