A printing company has opened a new 10,000 square foot production studio and warehouse.

Basingstoke-based firm THEMPC has opened a digital printing studio, production facility and warehouse to deliver a range of digital printing and branding services for local, national and international clients.

The new print facility, located in Whitney Road, Basingstoke, includes a digital printer able to print full colour to paper as large as 330mm by 1,300 mm, as well as a UV digital machine that can print on Perspex, metal, plastic, wood and other items.

The facility also contains equipment to add foil embellishments, laminate, stitch and wiro-bind booklets, as well as an automated cutting table and guillotine for finishing.

The company, which is run by Paul and Emma Marsh, was established in 2013 as The Marketing Production Company to manage the creation of branded marketing assets and other print services for clients; it specialises in creating branded merchandise, such as welcome packs, cooperate goody bags or branded USBs, for events, client and employee onboarding and broader promotional campaigns.

THEMPC is now expanding, bringing the majority of print jobs in-house in an attempt to ensure consistent quality for clients, and to produce marketing assets faster.

Emma Marsh said: “The quality of your print and branded assets is a reflection of your brand.

“Yet we know from managing thousands of print jobs that sadly you don’t always get what you’re expecting or when you’re expecting it.

“We’ve always invested back into the business, and we’re delighted we now have the space, highest quality professional equipment and fully trained staff to manage all kinds of in-house printing ourselves.

“Our dedicated production staff will deliver quality printing, exactly as requested time after time.

“And we’ll be able to turn jobs around quicker, print on demand, and offer more print personalisation.”

THEMPC is also opening a branch in Europe called THEMPC Europe, based in Munich, Germany; this branch will allow the company to offer their services to customers within the EU, without the customers having to pay more for imported items.

The company is also planning on opening another operations hub in America later this year.
