Deputy Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane Cllr Paul Miller, who is set to be the Mayor next year, will have the difficult task of choosing the winner at a special event on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 3pm.

Cllr Miller said: “A whole host of events and celebrations are being planned to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and I’m looking forward to seeing what these imaginative and talented students have created as puddings to honour this very special occasion.”

Residents are being invited to join him to sample some of the puddings and enjoy a special afternoon tea prepared by the students.

The winning pudding will be served at the Mayor’s Jubilee Civic Sunday Service on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at St Michael’s Church.
