POLICE have thanked the public for their help locating a pensioner who went missing from his Hampshire home. 

The man was last seen at around 2pm on Saturday, April 23 leaving his home address in Farnborough.

Hampshire police put out an appeal as his family were concerned for his welfare. 

An update from police on Sunday at 8.15am said: "We can now confirm that missing John Dagg has been located.

"As ever, your help with sharing our appeal really is appreciated by us all."
