A MOTORCYCLIST has been left with "minor injuries" following a collision at a roundabout in Basingstoke.

Hampshire police were called to the incident at the roundabout connecting the A339 and Ringway West on Sunday (April 17).

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police, said: “We were called at 5.27pm yesterday (17 April) following a collision involving a motorcycle and a car at the roundabout connecting the A339 and Ringway West in Basingstoke.

“The motorcyclist was reported as having minor injuries.

“The road was closed while the incident was dealt with but has since reopened.”

A spokesperson from South Central Ambulance Service added: "We were called at 17:23 to the A339 to a collision. 

"We sent to the scene two ambulance crews who were assessing and treating one patient. 

"Following treatment at the scene by our crews the patient was taken to North Hampshire Hospital."
