The story is about a slug and caterpillar who are both starving, but the only leaf left in the garden is just out of reach.

Slug thinks they should work together to reach the leaf, but caterpillar has other ideas.

Things get a bit sticky as the audience is invited to enter the undergrowth to squish, squelch and play their way through this hilarious, surreal show for two to five-year-olds and their families.

Told with a handful of words and lots of slime, tickets for the show are now on sale from Proteus.

Proteus Creation Space is also holding a Great Easter Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day on Thursday, April 14 from 10am to 4pm.

The fun-filled day will be packed with spring and Easter themed crafts and activities for little ones to enjoy.

During the morning there will be time to try out different craft activities to decorate your home for the holidays.

After lunch an Easter egg hunt will commence in and around the creation space, before the day finishes with a screening of a popular child-friendly film.

They stay-and-play event is suitable for children aged three to eight.
