TWO Basingstoke gymnasts won gold at the International Open Cantanhede 2022 in Portugal last weekend.
Amelia Thynne and Felix Smith, representing the GB Aerobics Team, won gold in mixed pair category.
Basingstoke Gymnastics Club had sent four members to the Portugal event with Amy Woods, the club’s development manager and GB national Coach, accompanying them.
Results:
Amelia Thynne and Felix Smith: Won mixed pair Gold - Group 1
Felix Smith: Individual 4th in qualifications and 4th in the Group 1 finals
Jayda Blanchflower: Individual 6th in Group 1
Xanthe Esselmont: 5th in qualifications and 4th in the individual seniors finals
