A CHARITY has kindly donated 77 wellbeing packs to a care home, giving one to every resident.

Spotlight UK, which has a long-standing relationship with Cherry Blossom Manor care home in Bramley Green, donated the packs.

Based in Berkshire and Hampshire, Spotlight UK supports people of all ages and all walks of life, anyone who is struggling.

As part of its Beating Loneliness project, Spotlight wanted to give residents a little pick me up during the winter months so they donated wellbeing packs containing toiletries, books, puzzles, solitaire games, jars with positive thoughts and so much more.

Residents at the home were touched by the charity’s thoughtfulness and very much enjoyed exploring all the items in the packs, especially the games and puzzles.

Gigi Despojo, general manager at Cherry Blossom Manor, said: “We were so touched to receive the wellbeing packs, they were a real tonic for our residents. It was very kind of Spotlight UK to think of us. It was lovely to connect with them again and see some familiar faces on both sides.”

Cherry Blossom Manor is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers.
