A CAR that was parked on a road in Basingstoke has been vandalised after a suspected criminal damage incident.

Police officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of criminal damage on Sandys Road, Basingstoke.

The incident happened on Monday, March 7 at around 3.15pm when a car that was parked on the road was vandalised.

The suspect has been described as a teenage boy, aged between 13 and 17-years-old who was riding a silver and white mountain bike with front suspension.

A spokesperson from Hampshire police, said: “The suspect has been described a teenage boy, aged between 13 and 17 years old.

“He is described as being white, and was wearing a light coloured hooded top. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms, white socks and black trainers.

“The suspect was riding a silver and white mountain bike with front suspension.

“Officers have been making enquiries and are now asking the public for help.

“Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness any suspicious behaviour?

“Do you have dash-cam footage or CCTV images that could help our investigation?

“Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting the reference number 44220093168.”
