BASINGSTOKE residents have been continuing to pull together in support of refugees from Ukraine.

The Cultural Diversity Consortium in Basingstoke has set up a collection point to receive essential items to support Ukrainian refugees.

The collection centre was opened for donations on March 6 and they said the support received so far from individuals and local groups across Basingstoke has been “overwhelming”.
