A COUNCILLOR organised a successful litter collection day in Hatch Warren in a bid to make the area the cleanest part of Basingstoke.

The litter pick took place last weekend on Saturday, January 22 and lasted two hours from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

Everyone who came down to help clean the area met at the BeggarWood Café, which can be found in Hatch Warren.
