RESIDENTS spotted numerous police vehicles at a Chineham roundabout, near Hanmore Road and Cufaude Road, on Saturday evening (January 22).
Police told the Gazette that they had been called to a ‘concern for welfare’ incident in the area.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “We were called just before 6pm to a report of a concern for the welfare of a man on a bridge in Cufaude Lane, Chineham.
“Officers attended but no one was located following a thorough search.”
