THESE pictures show Albion fans last night as Brighton drew 1-1 with Chelsea on another cold night at the Amex.

Many fans were slightly bemused when they saw two almost guaranteed starters benched in Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay.

But it was another lesson learnt to trust Graham Potter, with Albion running Chelsea ragged for large parts of the game.

Albion were dominant in possession during the first half, but Danny Welbeck was an isolated figure up front with only Jakub Moder in support.

Potter’s side failed to register a shot on target in the first half and were punished 28 minutes in when Hakim Ziyech cut in from the right hand side and took an early shot which deceived Robert Sanchez at the near post.

It was disappointing for Brighton, but a position they have often found themselves in and regularly bounced back from this season.

It would take just 15 minutes for Albion to draw level again, with Adam Webster thundering in an in swinging Alexis Mac Allister corner 60 minutes in for his first goal of the season.

Albion continued to apply the pressure, despite having less possession than the visitors. Chelsea had a little spell of dominance where it looked like Albion would be sucker punched.

However, Brighton would see the game out and secure another draw against the current European champions who were made to look sub-par in reality.

Albion travel to Leicester this Sunday for a 2pm kick off, before taking on Tottenham on February 5 in the FA Cup fourth round.
