A man from Andover died in a hospice after hospital complications, an inquest heard.
John Oliver Ramsden Porter died on December 15 at the Countess Mountbatten Hospice.
The 76-year-old had been admitted to Royal Hampshire County Hospital after a fall at home.
While in hospital, Mr Porter caught Covid and pneumonia.
The preliminary causes of death was found to be pneumonia, subdural haemorrhage, Covid-19, previous venous thromboembolism (on warfarin) and myeloproliferative disorder.
Senior coroner Christopher Wilkinson adjourned the inquest to take place on May 3 2022.
