A BASINGSTOKE man has been fined nearly £700 after being caught driving 40 miles per hour in a 30 zone.
Anthony Cunningham, of Darcy Close, was caught driving a Vauxhall over the speed limit on Academy Road in Woolwich in the early hours of July 21.
He was also found to have failed to respond to a notice of intended prosecution. The case was proved guilty via the single justice procedure, and Cunningham was fined £660.
He must also pay costs of £90, a victim surcharge of £100, and was given six points on his licence.
