AN ENTERTAINMENT shop in Basingstoke has confirmed it is moving to a new “modern” store.
Entertainment Exchange, on Wote Street, will be relocating to the Old Basing Mall from the Thursday, December 16.
Confirming the move, a CeX spokesperson told the Gazette: “You’ll be able to buy and sell games, phones and tech for cash at our new and improved store at CeX, Old Basing Mall - opposite Boots.
“After being part of Basingstoke for the past 14 years, we’re excited for our new, modern store to be part of Old Basing Mall and get back to being the number one place for the residents of Basingstoke to get their games, phones and gadgets, all with a 24 month warranty.”
Reacting to the news, Alan Stone, who owns Squirrels Antiques on New Street which has been open for 40 years, said: “It will be a shame to see them go from the Top of Town, but I wish them all the best in The Malls."
