A MAJOR road near Whitchurch is witnessing heavy delays this afternoon (Monday) after a vehicle broke down partially in the live lane.
One lane of A34 Northbound is blocked between A303 and Whitchurch, according to the official live traffic updates from Hampshire County Council.

Road users are advised to take alternate routes until the incident is cleared.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 3.28pm by a vehicle recovery company requesting assistance with the recovery of a broken down vehicle which was partially in the live lane."
