WILLOWS Coffee House hosted a craft market over the weekend in the hope of breathing some life back into the Top of Town.

The Christmas craft market called Meet the Crafters - Cross Street Christmas Market ran along the length of Cross Street in Basingstoke on Saturday, November 27 from 10am-4pm.

The market was an opportunity for residents to support locals and celebrate and breath fresh air back into the Top of Town whilst grabbing some amazing gifts made locally and crafts from talented crafters.

Mary who runs Willows Coffee House, said: “It has actually been really quite busy, and all the stall holders have done really well and we have even got live music in the shop.

“It’s just been going really well, and we have seating under the stalls so they can have their hot drinks and stuff under cover so it worked quite well.”

Stalls included candles, designer fabric and cushion makers, resinwork, jewellery, plants, wood turning, pictures, glass painting and staining, bath bombs and smellies, chocolates, Christmas wreaths and much more.

Mary added: “Its nice to see everyone out and about at things like this after Covid and its out in the fresh air.”
