South Western Railway have advised customers that some lines are blocked due to trees and obstructions blocking the railway.
Train services running across the whole South Western Railway network may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
South Western Railway have confirmed that disruption will last for the rest of the day.
They tweeted: "Due to trees and obstructions blocking the railway some lines are blocked. Train services running across the whole South Western Railway network may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 18:00.
"We have now received an update from the team on-site & disruption to our services is now expected until the end of the day."
The 19:07 train from Basingstoke to Exeter St Davids is currently cancelled while some trains to London Waterloo are delayed.
Customers are advised to plan ahead and to check journeys before leaving.
This comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for Basingstoke today (Saturday, November 27) with strong winds expected as Storm Arwen batters the region.
