A BUS driver who left scores of children injured has had the appeal against his jail sentence rejected.

Martin Robert Walker was locked up for three years after ploughing a double-decker into a bridge on Wellhouse Lane, Headbourne Worthy.

Forty-one pupils from Henry Beaufort secondary school were left injured.

Three of them suffered life-changing injuries during the crash on September 10 last year.

In July, he launched an appeal against his sentence with the Court of Appeal.

The Gazette can now reveal that his application has been refused and his case is being closed.
