A30 Winchester Road to be closed completely for 5 days for maintenance works
A MAJOR road in Basingstoke will be closed overnight for five days in early December, it has been revealed.
A30 Winchester Road will be closed between 8pm and 6am for roadworks from Monday, December 6, to Friday, December 11, according to Hampshire County Council’s planned road maintenance information.
The closure is to allow for the resurfacing of the A30.
All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along A30 Winchester Road, Hounsome Fields, between the junction at Dummer, adjacent to junction 7 of the M3 and Saunders Way junction with the A30.
The diversions will be directed by traffic signs.
The alternate roads for diversion are Winchester Road, Ringway South, A339, A31, A272, A34 and the A30.
