Halloween Guided Walk Tour, Winchester

Not suitable for children, this ghost tour of Winchester starts at 8.00pm and lasts for 90 minutes. Starting at the Visitor Information Centre, this tour will expose all ghostly things around Winchester that will be sure to keep you up at night. Tickets are £7 and are available for purchase here

Fort Purbrook Ghost Hunt, Portsmouth

Delve deep into the haunted tunnels of Fort Purbrook this Halloween and see what spirits still roam. With shadows and footsteps being heard around the passageways, people have also heard stones thrown and shadow figures towering over you. Friday 29th October is fully booked, however you can join a waiting list here for further dates to be announced.

Spooky Halloween River Tour, New Forest

This October, New Forest Activities are offering the chance to venture into the Beaulieu River at dusk. The 90-minute tour will feature fancy dress as you head out in illuminated canoes onto the estuary at nightfall. Stopping along the way to hear ghoulish ghost stories from your nighttime guide. Hot chocolate and Halloween candy will be available for everyone taking part. Fancy dress is not essential but encouraged. Tickets: £34 for adults and £25 for children. Purchase tickets here

Southampton Ghost Tour

Award-winning Southampton ghost tour has been organised for another year. Gripping you from the start, this tour includes live actors who take on the part of Southampton's most notorious ghosts. You will also discover the ghosts of historic buildings including The Bargate, The Merchants Hall, West Gate and Tudor House. This event takes place on Friday 29th October and starts at 7:00pm. Groundlings Theatre Ghost Hunt, Portsmouth

An exciting ghost hunt at the Groundlings Theatre in Portsmouth is taking place Sunday 31st October. Dating back to 1784, there have been reports of children seen roaming and laughing around the theatre. Staff refuse to walk around the building alone, with poltergeist activity getting worse every year. This is a real ghost hunt experience, with no fakery, tricks or actors jumping out at you.
