Three masked men were arrested in woodland yesterday after they were allegedly seen acting suspiciously.

The men, from Blackwater, Woking and London, were found in woodland near Back Lane, Herriard, at just after 4.30pm on Thursday (September 23).

The trio, aged 32, 28 and 20 respectively, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.

The 32-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft and theft.

They have all been released on conditional bail and our enquiries are ongoing.
