THE Basingstoke variety show is set to go ahead this year after the pandemic brought the curtain down on the show last year.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 2 at the The Anvil.
A spectacular line up of local music, dance and theatre groups are set to take part including Kingsclere CE Primary School, St Marks CofE Primary School and Tadley Community Primary School.
Performances will also include Basingstoke Academy of Dance, Basingstoke Gang Show, Dancephaze and many solo acts.
Councillor Onnalee Cubitt, Basingstoke mayor, said: “I am thrilled that the wonderful Basingstoke Variety Show is set to return this year after it was cancelled due to Covid-19 last year.
“The borough is fortunate to have so much ‘home-grown’ talent and this is an opportunity for our residents to come along to The Anvil and show their support.”
