HUNDREDS of Basingstoke residents have had experiences with nightmare neighbours, new data reveals.
From loud music to raised voices, it's no surprise that thousands of noise complaints get filed in England every year.
The Sefton Meadows garden centre team decided to find out which areas have the noisiest neighbours in England. Their data showed that 707 complaints have been made by Basingstoke residents.
The results show that the South East region comes in second place for the noisiest area in England, with 45,875 noise complaints. London was the only region in England to have received more.
But it's not all bad news for the South East as Reading, Bracknell Forest and Slough come under the top ten for the quietest areas in England with a total of 1,552 noise complaints.
However, Kent comes under the top ten for the noisiest neighbours in England with a total of 9,275 noise complaints. This is higher than Reading, Bracknell Forest and Slough combined.
