THE popular Basingstoke Festival of Transport returned to the town on Sunday, August 22, for the first time in 16 months.
Vehicles of every variety were on display, and families and car-lovers from across the country headed to War Memorial Park to enjoy the day.
Thousands descended on the event, which was organised by the Thornycroft Society and Basingstoke Deane Rotary Club, and supported by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.
Rotary club member Debbie McLatch told the Gazette: “People have been trapped at home and it’s a moment for the community to come together and celebrate the 30th anniversary.”
The Gazette's photographer, Sarah Gaunt, was snapping away and put together this fantastic selection of pictures to capture the day. Spot anyone you know?
