A BASINGSTOKE branch of Nando’s had to close early yesterday after running out of stock.
The popular chicken restaurant in Festival Place was shut before 8pm, with a sign outside informing customers ‘Sorry, we’re currently closed’.
The restaurant is meant to be open until 10pm.
A member of staff at the branch said the reason for the closure was because it had run out of stock.
It did, however, remain open to fulfil pre-ordered deliveries.
The branch is back open again today, but customers are being warned that there are no guarantees as to what time it will stay open.
On Sundays Nando’s in Festival Place should stay open until 10pm. However, a member of staff said stock could run out again forcing the branch to close early.
Nando’s has been asked for a comment.
