A FAST-FOOD chain which offers “healthy and nutritionally balanced” kebabs is set to open in Basingstoke.
Doner Kebab opened its first store in Berlin in 1989 and now makes kebabs using its secret sauces which it says sets its apart from competitors.
The retailer uses a unique blend of traditional spices and quality ingredients including lean succulent beef and pure chicken fillets, with meat imported directly from Germany.
Its website states: “We only use fresh, locally produced vegetables that are delivered and prepared daily along with our special Doner Kebab bread. These make the Doner Kebab a truly unique taste and experience for our customers.”
It describes its German doner kebabs as “nutritionally sound gourmet food” which use “healthy, fresh, nutritious ingredients”.
Doner Kebab operates across the world with restaurants in countries including Sweden, Canada, USA, and Ireland.
The nearest outlet to Basingstoke is currently in Reading.
Its new branch will be opening in The Malls, Basingstoke, in a unit previously occupied by Jessops.
A sign on the window says ‘opening soon’.
