Lane closed on M3 and traffic building after accident
ONE lane of the M3 near Basingstoke is closed, with delays building, after an incident earlier.
Highways England has reported that lane one northbound is closed between junctions 8 (A303/Popham) and 9 (A34/Winchester), and traffic is slow while emergency services clear the scene.
The agency has said there are currently delays of 30 minutes and it is not likely to clear until 10.45pm at the latest.
