ONE lane of the M3 has been blocked after a road traffic incident took place this morning.
The Southbound carriageway has one lane blocked between junction 6 and juction 7.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police told the Gazette: “At 7.49am today we received reports of a road traffic incident involving one vehicle on the M3 between junctions 6 and 7.
“The vehicle had reportedly overturned and ended up on the hard shoulder on its side.
“We attended along with the ambulance service. The driver reported having minor injuries to their shoulder.”
According to the AA live traffic map heavy delays are building in the area with slow traffic tailing back to Greywell Road and Farleigh Road.
Drivers should avoid the area or allow extra journey time.
