Part of Kingsclere Road was cordoned off on Tuesday after a car crash.
Three fire engines as well as police and the ambulance service were called to the incident near Ramsdell just before 11pm yesterday evening, July 20.
Two cars were involved in a head on collision and a male and female were injured.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service told the Gazette: “Three fire engines and a response support vehicle from Basingstoke were called to the A339 Kingsclere Road, near Ramsdell, at 22:56 following an RTC involving two vehicles.
“No-one was trapped and two casualties – one female and one male – were conscious and breathing. Firefighters attended to the casualties before handing them over to SCAS.
“Police were also in attendance. Fire crews left the scene just after midnight.”
