ONE lane is blocked on the M3 Junction 7 Northbound exit road at Dummer this afternoon due to a vehicle breakdown.
Drivers are being urged to approach the area with caution.
AA traffic first recorded the incident as a traffic accident at 12.46pm and says that traffic in the area is "coping well".
It said: "Accident, traffic coping well, lane closed on exit ramp.
"Lane closed on exit ramp due to accident on M3 Northbound at J7 A30 Winchester Road (Basingstoke South / Dummer). Traffic is coping well. Lane one (of two) is closed."

However, a spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed to the Gazette that the incident is "just a broken down vehicle".
They added: "Our officers came across it whilst on patrol and are assisting them as they wait for vehicle recovery."
