The weather for this weekend in Basingstoke is a big contrast from the hot weather of last weekend.  

The outlook for Saturday is fairly mild and cloudy with a 10 per cent chance of rain from the morning until 5pm when showers are likely lasting until 7pm.   

It will be humid and damp throughout the day, Met Office forecasters told The Gazette

On Sunday early morning showers are 50 per cent likely with some sunny spells from 1pm and weather improving in the evening with sun expected at 7pm. 

According to the Met Office, the temperature will likely not exceed 17 degrees Celsius on Saturday and 18 degrees on Saturday. 

Flood alerts have been issued this weekend in Northern parts of Basingstoke, including around Churchill way and areas next to Loddon River. 

There is a chance of thunderstorms for parts of the South East though this is not predicted for Andover and Basingstoke currently.

Outbreaks of rain will clear most areas through the evening, then mainly dry with clear spells developing overnight. Strong winds along coasts will tend to ease later. Minimum temperature 10 °C. 

Saturday: 

Variable cloud will allow warm sunny spells to develop. Most places will be dry until mid-afternoon. Then further heavy, perhaps thundery rain will arrive by the evening, continuing overnight. Maximum temperature 20 °C. 

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: 

Often cloudy with occasionally heavy rain or thundery showers through the period. Sometimes warm in sunny intervals between showers.
