ROADWORKS. An annoyance for every driver out there, but worse still when you have no idea they're happening.

To help you navigate your way around Basingstoke this month, we've put together a list of the planned roadworks in the borough during June ...

Roadworks are still being completed on the Venture Roundabout and the connecting A339, making delays likely. The work is not expected to be completed until June 11.

Big delays are likely on the Brighton Hill Roundabout. Winchester Road is also likely to see delays with roadworks taking place from the roundabout all the way into Kingsworthy until at least the September 1.

There is a diversion on Andover Road in Oakley beginning yesterday (June 4) and lasting until at least June 11.

The westbound lane of Faraday Road between Rutherford Road and the A33/A339 roundabout remains closed until at least June 18.

Winchester Road in Whitchurch is also seeing roadworks until at least June 8, with traffic control making delays likely if you are driving through Whitchurch.

There is also a northbound diversion and one way system on White Hill Road, Overton which has been extended until September for drainage works, with the A303 into Overton likely to see delays until at least April 12.

The adjacent Conxford Down road is also undergoing improvements and is closed until September 17.

Wolverton Road in Kingsclere is closed until August 31. A diversion is in place on Crabs Hill towards the A339 up to Brimpton Road.

Finally, the Thatcham level crossing is due to open today, having been closed since May 31.
