Girl, 15, assaulted two police officers in Basingstoke during Covid lockdown
A HAMPSHIRE teenager has appeared in court after assaulting two police officers in Basingstoke.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, indicated guilty pleas to the two charges of assaulting an emergency worker.
It is said that the 15-year-old assaulted police officers Ben Harris and David Warren in Basingstoke on February 8.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday, the case was adjourned pending a pre-sentence report.
The girl, who is from the New Forest district, will next appear before the same court on June 28, where she is expected to be sentenced.
