WATCH: Moment Basingstoke shoppers at Festival Place fall silent to honour Duke of Edinburgh
People at Festival Place in Basinstoke observed a minute's silence at 3pm on Saturday for Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
The Duke passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle on Friday, April 9.
His funeral is taking place today at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle with 30 guests attending the proceedings.
There is also a minute's silence to be held nationwide to remember the Prince.
