Businesses across Hampshire are ready to welcome back customers this weekend, following the latest easing of restrictions earlier this week, on April 12.

It will offer a sigh of relief tp people who have been locked up for months, giving family, friends and loved ones the chance to catch up.

The atmosphere in pubs may be livelier than any normal weekend, as people flock to get into the groove of enjoying a night out.

For those who want to avoid the crowds and still enjoy the freedom of relaxed restrictions, there are plenty of activities to try that don't include walks or picnics.

Here is a list of all the attractions you can visit in Hampshire now restriction have lifted:

  • Hire kayaks or paddle boards- Woodmill, Lymington, Hamble
  • Ski at the outdoor Alpine Snowsports Centre-Southampton
  • Paultons Park, Home of Peppa Pig World
  • Go Ape – Itchen Valley Country Park, Moors Valley and Alice Holt Forest
  • National Trust gardens
  • New Forest Wildlife Park
  • Mini golf
  • Hawks Conservancy
  • Buckler’s Hard river cruise
  • Cyclexperience – Open for bike hire for up to 6 people if you live within 25 miles of Brockenhurst
  • Exbury Gardens
  • Birdworld
  • Butser Ancient Farm
  • Longdown Activity Farm
  • Finkley Down Farm
  • Manor Farm
  • Mid Hants Railway ‘Watercress Line’
  • Royal Armouries Fort Nelson

Whilst Hampshire businesses will be delighted to welcome the public, it is important to remember the coronavirus rules in place to keep us all safe.

It is a requirement for everyone to must a face covering in indoor areas unless you have an exemption.

Whilst out and about you should continue to wash your hands regularly and use hand sanitiser.

If you are heading to do a bit of shopping indoors, make sure you are either alone or with your household or support bubble.  Mixing indoors with people not in your household or bubble is not permitted.

You should continue to follow social distancing rules, even when outside and take not of one way systems.

Everyone over 16 must use the NHS Test and Trace app when visiting hospitality venues and attractions.
