DRIVERS will face diversion and delays in areas near Basingstoke over the Easter weekend due to various roadworks.
Across Basingstoke roads are about to be repaired, potholes patched up and water and electric works carried out.
Here’s a round-up of what to expect on the roads in and around Basingstoke during the Easter weekend.
Oakley Lane
31 Mar 2021 – 7 Apr 2021
Carriageway surface repairs in localised areas in along Oakley Lane, Oakley, from the junction Hill Road to the junction of Ashley Gardens.
This work is in preparation for a proposed surface treatment, which if undertaken, will be carried out during 2021.
The works are currently programmed to start on Wednesday 31st March 2021 and are expected to last for up to 4 days, during which time the road will be closed to through traffic from approximately 9am to 4.30pm. The road will be open outside of these hours and over the weekend (including Bank Holidays)
