A BASINGSTOKE man has denied assaulting a woman at the King of Wessex pub.
David Troy McGuigan, of New Road, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday (March 31).
The 32-year-old pleaded not guilty to assaulting and causing actual bodily harm to Lisa Ann Marie Charlton at the Winchester Road pub, in Kings Furlong, on October 10, 2020.
Recorder Adam Feest QC granted Mr McGuigan conditional bail. He will stand trial at the same court on August 24, 2021.
Messaging The Gazette after the court hearing, one of the owners of the Winchester Road pub, Hayden Gowan, said the alleged incident did not take place at his establishment.
