A NEW Amazon Prime series starring Richard Madden is rumoured to be filming in Basingstoke.
The public has reported seeing lorries, cameras, lights and signs going up around Basing View today, with clues suggesting it could be for new Amazon Prime series Citadel.
The cast, which includes Priyanka Chopra Jonas, was recently thought to be filming nearby in Bourne Wood in Farnham on March 3, with signs using the code AML spotted – the same as the ones seen in Basing View.
The signs in Basing View also direct to catering, crowds and cars.
A Basing View worker told the Gazette he saw lorries arriving this afternoon and lighting being set up near Mountbatten House.
Other members of the public spotted toilet blocks being installed, mobile camera units and security guards patrolling the area.
The plot details of the series are being kept under wraps but it is reported to be an "epic global spy thriller" starring Bodyguard actor Madden, The White Tiger actress Chopra Jonas and Ashleigh Cummings.
