A man is set to face trial after denying the assault of three hospital workers earlier this year.

Sebastian Javier Reveron, of Domitian Gardens in Rooksdown, was accused of the assault of three NHS security guards at Basingstoke hospital on January 29.

He has pleaded guilty to all charges, and has elected to face trial by jury.

The 31-year-old will next appear before Winchester Crown Court on April 1.

He has been bailed conditionally, as must not enter Basingstoke hospital’s A&E department unless in a medical emergency or on the advice of 111 or a health professional.

A man from Wiltshire has admitted assaulting two people in Basingstoke shortly before Christmas.

Simon David Humphreys, of Wood Park in Ludgershall, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

He further admitted resisting PCs Castle and Coomber in the execution of their duties.

The incident took place in Eastrop on December 23, 2020.

The 49-year-old has been released on conditional bail, whilst a pre-sentence report is prepared.

He will next appear before court on April 12.

A man has been ordered to pay compensation after he urinated and spat blood in a police cell.

Jason Derek Baigent, of New Street in Andover, was under arrest at the Police Investigation Centre in Basingstoke last June when he damaged the cell.

It was flooded and required a deep clean, court documents show.

He was under arrest after being found in possession of cannabis in Kings Worthy on June 19.

The 48-year-old was ordered to pay compensation of £50, with no separate penalty made for the cannabis possession charge.

Baigent was also banned from driving for 12 months after he was found to be behind the wheel of Ford Transit van on the M3 near Fleet last October, whilst under the influence of cannabis.

A teenager has been charged with possessing cannabis, cocaine and heroin.

The 17-year-old from London, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possessing the drugs in Basingstoke last August.

He has been released on conditional bail and will next appear before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on April 9.

No plea has been entered.

A Tadley man has been fined after assaulting a woman.

Shaun Michael Berry, of Purbrook Road, admitted assaulting the woman in Basingstoke last July, after previously denying the charge.

The 34-year-old was given a £300 fine and ordered to pay costs of £250.

He must also pay a victim surcharge of £34, but no order for compensation was made.

A woman has been banned from driving for almost two years after she was found to be more than double the drink drive limit in Hook.

Emma Jayne Waring, of School Drive in Woodley, Reading, was behind the wheel of her Ford on January 27 on the A287 when she was found to be over the limit.

She had 90 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, where the drink drive limit is 35.

The 26-year-old was banned from driving for 23 months, and fined £46.

Waring was also ordered to pay costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £34.
