THE train line between Basingstoke and Salisbury is currently blocked, due to a fallen tree.
Resulting delays and service cancellations are expected until at least 10.30am this morning, South Western Railway has confirmed.
In a tweet, the company wrote: "The tree that had fallen on the railway between Andover and Whitchurch has been cleared.
“However, whilst service recovers, trains between Salisbury and Basingstoke may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until 10:30.”
