A MAN from Basingstoke has been charged in connection with an incident on Rossetti Close on Saturday (March 6).
Police have confirmed that Gage Leon Berry, of Dryden Close in Basingstoke, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
The 24-year-old was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates Court this morning (March 9).
Posting about his arrest yesterday afternoon, Basingstoke Cops wrote on Twitter: "This comes after a man was seen with a sword and a crossbow on Rossetti Close just before 6pm on Saturday."
